Welcome to the Earth School

Today, over 1.5 billion children aren’t able to go to school. In response to this education crisis, Unep and TED-Ed – with lots of educators and partner organizations – launched Earth School,  30 days of nature-focused content and environmental adventures for learners of all ages.

From Bhutan a poem to thank those in the world who are facing the pandemic, even at the cost of their lives. Takur S Powdyel, former education minister of the Himalayan kingdom who invented Gross National Happiness as an alternative to GDP, sent us a composition and prayers.

WEEC 2023: the Call for Bids is open

The public or private non-profit organizations (universities, foundations, associations, …) concerned in the candidacy of their own country as the seat of the 12th WEEC in 2023 must send an Expression of Interest (EOI). Deadline: 31st July 2020.

Call for submissions: selected papers form the 10WEEC

Read here the submission process and timeline. Papers selected for inclusion in the peer reviewed volume will focus on the multidisciplinarity of EE.  All submissions for the volume must be written in English. The final book will be published as part of the Culture and Environment Series with DIO Press (New York)

Possibility of collaboration with Canadian environmental education journal

Each year, the journal “Éducation relative à l’environnement : Regards – Recherches – Réflexions” publishes an issue outside the theme, under the responsibility of the Center for Research in Education and Training relating to the Environment and Eco-Citizenship (UQAM). This issue of the journal will be entirely made up of texts submitted spontaneously to the journal. […]
